Jane and Tracy's Far Northland trip

On June 20th, 2001, Jane and I left Larkspur on a whirlwind summer vacation expected to last two months. Now through the miracle of the web you can suffer through our stories and slideshow before we return home!   (Well, you could have if you cought this show before August 20, 2001.)

We name all our trips, and called this one the Far Northland for reasons which should be apparent.

Every couple of days I tried to summarize what we had seen and done in a brief [sic] email, and sent it to a select list of friends -- a sort of cyber postcard. (Having a great time. Wish you were here!) I have compiled these epistles into a travelog for your perusal.

We took lots of photos, some of which are of acceptable quality. Note: My digital camera broke down after a few weeks, so that images posted after July 23rd were taken with disposable Kodaks and scanned in later. When I returned home Canon repaired the camera with no fuss and at no cost!
